My role
I was the creative director, art director and designer responsible for the concept style frames.

Project information
Art Trip began with a clear challenge: translate the show’s concept into a visual identity that could spark desire, capture attention and stand apart from other audiovisual projects in the same space. The idea itself was already well defined. Art Trip was conceived as an independent series exploring the relationship between artists and the places they call home. Each episode followed one artist as they guided viewers through their city, revealing how both influence each other in subtle and unexpected ways.

With that foundation in place, we kicked off a series of brainstorming sessions that shaped the direction of the project. As part of this process, we designed a set of style frames that not only defined the visual mood but also served as key assets in building the presentation deck for production companies and potential partners.

During the creative process, we identified a powerful insight: artists and their cities often share deep emotional ties, constantly reshaping one another and creating new paths and landscapes. Art Trip would serve as the window through which viewers could witness these transformations around the world. That idea became the spark for the show’s signature visual concept. We adopted the stencil as a core element, not in its traditional sense but as a tool for revealing new realities. We designed different stencil and window shapes that layered organically over imagery, creating an abstract and contemporary mood that moved away from the familiar clichés often linked to graffiti-inspired visuals.

The result was a visually striking and conceptually strong project that resonated with production partners and performed well in funding submissions. Although Art Trip ultimately did not reach the streets due to operational and management constraints, the creative foundation proved to be solid, original and widely praised.
